Crime

The criminal team at St Philips Chambers are instructed in, among other areas, cases of murder, corporate manslaughter, terrorism, human trafficking, serious sexual offences (including historic abuse), and drugs conspiracies. In 2017 Kevin Hegarty QC successfully prosecuted Sivan Amin, who murdered his former housemate in a knife attack. In 2018 Heidi Kubik QC took silk and was appointed to the circuit bench.
