Position
David is a property partner advising generally on acquisitions and disposals and large scale lettings of industrial, office, leisure and retail units, whilst also acting for the public sector on large scale, high-profile development and funding work. He leads the team on roll-out of the Homes and Communities Agency’s First Time Buyer’s Initiative and Kickstart Housing Delivery Programme. Recent experience includes: acting for the Homes and Communities Agency on creation of several exemplar integrated mixed use/tenure (including affordable housing) schemes; acting for the Homes and Communities Agency on their acquisition of surplus MOD land for the creation of a 10,000 unit settlement; acting for Birmingham City Council on development of the second Masshouse site for a £200m mixed use scheme; acting for a German open-ended special fund on their first direct investment into the UK with the acquisition of an out of town office park; acting for a middle eastern investment authority in a JV for the acquisition and subsequent development of a major shopping centre.
