Position
Joanne is a corporate partner specialising principally in private company work including private equity investments. Capitalising on her degree in biotechnology, she has a special interest in healthcare transactions and heads the firm’s social care practice which represents 6 of the top 20 private operators in mental health and three of the top 10 operators in learning difficulties. Clients in the sector include CareTech Holdings plc, Craegmoor Healthcare, Avery Healthcare, Carewatch Care Services, Eden Supported Living and Orchard Care Homes, as well as a number of fostering businesses. She is also a member of the support services team and is the principal lawyer in the UK for the Danish facilities services company ISS Facility Services, Europe’s largest cleaning company. She has client relationships with a number of other large facilities management providers and her knowledge of the FM sector is recognised. Private equity relationships include MML Capital Partners, Barclays Private Equity, and ISIS.
