Position
Kevin is a partner and regulatory lawyer. His experience is mainly in health, safety and environmental law and related litigation. He is dual-qualified as a solicitor and chartered safety and health practitioner and provides pro-active advice on a wide range of health and safety and regulatory issues to corporate and commercial clients in all sectors. Kevin advises employers on avoiding health and safety liabilities as well as handling accident investigations, inquests and prosecutions, including numerous fatal accidents. He has hosted many seminars and lectures on all aspects of health and safety and regulatory law and regularly writes the ‘in court’ column in the ‘Safety Health Practitioner’. He is a chartered and a council member of the Chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. Kevin has most recently been principal adviser to Cotswold Geotech, the first company to be prosecuted for the new offence of corporate manslaughter (under the Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007), together with its managing director, who was separately charged with gross negligence manslaughter.
