Position
David is a partner in the reinsurance and international risk team, specialising in insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution. He has acted in a wide variety of disputes relating to both traditional and alternative risks. He undertakes a wide range of transactional and advisory work. He is a member of the war, politics and trade risk group and have acted in several political and credit risk matters.
Career
Trained 7 Bedford Row (Chambers of David Farris QC); called to the bar 1995; qualified as a solicitor 2003; Barlow Lyde & Gilbert 1998; partner 2007-present. Previously lectured in Law at University College London. Publications: ‘Reinsurance Practice and the Law’.
