Kerry Fretwell advises on all aspects of family law with a particular specialism on resolving financial claims for husbands and wives and unmarried partners. Having trained at Manches London office where she became a partner in 2002, Kerry then moved to Blandy and Blandy in Reading and was a partner there for 6 years. When Manches set up a Reading office she moved to set up a family team in Reading and is now Head of the Reading family team. With expertise in the London courts, including the High Court, Kerry is experienced in big money cases and acts for company directors, lawyers, bankers, accountants, high net worth individuals and their spouses. She also deals with private children cases, including contact, residence and leave to remove applications. Kerry was one of the first lawyers in England to train as a collaborative lawyer in 2004 and is happy to settle cases without court proceedings where appropriate. The directories describe Kerry as first rate and particularly experienced in divorce and financial matters. She has sat on a Resolution committee for many years, and run seminars, lectured and contributed articles to the legal press.
