Position
Margaret is a partner in Manches commercial group and heads the firm’s data and information team. She is a trained mediator and experienced commercial litigator and arbitrator advising on commercial disputes such as joint ventures, agency, manufacturing and distribution and IP and data issues, often involving cross-border issues. She specialises in all aspects of intellectual property and advises on the full range of protection and exploitation for leading brand owners and retailers. Margaret is a nationally recognised expert in data protection and privacy law, advising leading companies in the information services, retail and financial sectors. She works closely with the Information Commissioner’s Office and industry groups. Margaret is recognised by ‘The Legal 500’, ‘Chambers’ and ‘Legal Business’ as an expert in IP, data and retail.
