Position

Cliff Stromberg's practice is devoted to health care law and transactions. He represents universities, medical centers, hospital systems, biomedical research institutes, managed care organizations, health insurers, health care companies, and professional associations. He has experience advising several dozen of the nation's leading medical centers and national managed care companies. These matters include purchases, sales, and mergers of hospitals; acquisitions, mergers, and “conversions” of HMOs and insurers; establishing new health care facilities; creating research institutes, provider networks, and integrated health systems; regulatory compliance matters; reimbursement disputes; antitrust counseling; biotechnology joint ventures and technology transfer; counseling boards of directors on governance issues; and serving as general counsel to many associations. A number of states and public bodies have selected Cliff to advise them on biomedical transactions.
