Together with Adam Kushner, Montague continues to represent Hyundai in its Clean Air Act settlement commitment. Hogan Lovells US LLP’ product liability practice is headed by Lauren Colton in Baltimore and handles MDLs and class actions in a multitude of sectors, including food and beverage, technology, household electronics and appliances. In New York, Phoebe Wilkinson continues to act for longstanding client LG Electronics in a nationwide putative class action regarding the sale, marketing and quality of washing machines. For Hormel Food, Washington DC-based Desmond Hogan obtained complete dismissal of a class action complaint alleging false advertising. ConAgra, StarKist and Best Buy are also part of the firm’s client base. Maria Durant joined the Boston office in September 2017 in course of the firm’s combination with Collora LLP.

Hogan Lovells US LLP’s product litigation practice is headed by Lauren Colton in Baltimore and advises manufacturers in the pharmaceuticals and medical devices industry on product liability lawsuits, MDLs and regulatory matters. Together with Minneapolis-based senior counsel Mitchell Zamoff, Colton successfully defended Medtronic in a lawsuit brought by Humana, alleging that the manufacturer had fraudulently manipulated medical literature regarding its Infuse bone graft device. In other work, the team continues to act as co-national coordinating counsel to Bristol-Myers Squibb in litigation concerning its antipsychotic Abilify. The firm’s client roster also includes Amgen, Zimmer and Baxter. In course of the September 2017 combination with Collora LLP, Maria Durant and Sara Silva joined the firm with a new Boston office. Rachael Bushey returned to Pepper Hamilton LLP in November 2017.
