Charlie is widely recognised as a leader in the online sphere.

Hogan Lovells International LLP  expertise spans trademark portfolio management, extensive advertising, marketing and sponsorship deals and all IP protection and enforcement matters. Sahira Khwaja , Richard Welfare  and Charlie Winckworth  jointly head the multi-disciplinary practice. Khwaja specialises in brand strategy, enforcement and advertising and sponsorship deals; recent highlights include working with Welfare in assisting Mars/Wringleys secure endorsement deals with well-known celebrity figures in music and sports, she also continues to represent Merck, Sharp Dohme in a UK -based same name trademark dispute against Merck KGaA. Commercial partner Welfare’s expertise in regulatory matters saw him recently work with Ocean Spray and a2 Milk on advertising compliances and promotional claims. Winckworth manages the global trademark portfolios, including enforcement and prosecution for Asahi Europe’s  and Gamesys. Senior Associate Anneka Dalton assists brands such as Spin Master and Vorwerk on a range of trademark, enforcement and strategic brand management issues.
