Position

Andrew now heads up the firm's London real estate finance practice, which includes over twenty fee earners within its ranks. The dedicated, close-knit team, which includes fellow partners Andrew Flemming and Jo Solomon, has gone from strength to strength in recent years.

Andrew hails from a banking and project finance practice background, and has experience of working on major international transactions involving the financing of gas pipelines, motorways, CCGT power stations and hospitals.

Andrew now concentrates on domestic and cross-border real estate finance deals, representing banks, debt funds, borrowers and funds on a wide range of transactions.

Recent highlights include Andrew Flemming, who is ‘technically astute’ and ‘a very personable lawyer who can get the deal done’, advising Colony NorthStar and China Resources Land on the £300m financing of their joint acquisition of the entities which own a trophy office building in the City of London, and, along with senior associate Simon Bacchus, acting for Ahli United Bank in relation to the Islamic financing of two high-end residential towers in West London. In addition, Jo Solomon acted for Cheyne Capital on a £100m development finance facility for two sites in Manchester city centre.
