With over 25 years' experience, Marco is a transactional lawyer with broad experience in M&A, joint ventures and strategic alliances, advising Italian and foreign clients on domestic and cross-border deals. Through the years, Marco has gained extensive experience in the real estate sector assisting a number of institutional investors and he heads the Real Estate practice in Italy. He is dual qualified as a lawyer at the Milan Bar and as a solicitor in England & Wales, having spent part of his career working in the City. Marco has been Managing Partner of the Milan office for 10 years.

Francesco Stella advised BNP Paribas Cardif on the acquisition of a majority stake in Cargeas Assicurazioni, a non-life insurance company in Italy; Luca Picone assisted the sole shareholder of Italian company L'Aromatika, a manufacturer of coffee pods, capsules, beans and coffee concentrates and extracts, with the sale of a majority stake of its corporate capital to Italmobiliare; and Leah Dunlop and Antonio Di Pasquale acted forJAB Luxury on its disposal of a controlling stake in Bally, the Swiss luxury shoe and accessories firm. Marco Rota Candiani heads the real estate practice in Italy.

The main name to note is Marco Rota Candiani; he advised Segro, alongside counsel Maria Deledda, on the sale of a property in the Energy Park in Vimercate to Corum Asset Management. Dana Italiana also engaged the practice to oversee the acquisition of the Brevini headquarters in Reggio Emilia consisting of an industrial plant, warehouse and offices.
