Position
John advises many of the world’s leading banks and corporations on international financing transactions and his areas of focus include syndicated lending, secured and structured financings, acquisition, structured trade and project finance and reorganisation work. He is also the global head of Linklaters’ finance and projects division and managing partner for the Americas and a member of its executive committee. He divides his time between London and New York.
Career
Admitted as a barrister and solicitor in South Australia 1980; partner Finlaysons, South Australia 1984-89; admitted as solicitor in England and Wales 1988; partner and global head of banking practice Linklaters 1990-2007; global head of finance and projects/managing partner Americas, Linklaters 2007 to date.
