Partner specialising in private client work including advice in relation to wills, tax and succession planning and the administration of estates (executries). She also specialises in the creation and administration of charities and trusts and incapacity law in Scotland. She advises the trustees of many large trusts whose principal beneficiary is affected by incapacity or disability. She is considered by her peers as an expert in personal injury and disabled trusts.

Phillips has particular expertise in advising high-net-worth clients on succession planning, inheritance and capital gains tax planning.
