Position
Partner in the pension group; advises on all areas of law relating to occupational and personal pension schemes; the merger of occupational pension schemes; the pensions aspects of termination of employment, multi-jurisdictional and UK private acquisitions and disposals, IPOs (including AIM), demergers, PPP and PFI projects and public sector pension schemes for central and local government, banks and contractors; strategic reviews of employers’ pension arrangements, closure of pension schemes to new members and to future accrual and the implementation of new benefit structures; employers’ liabilities in relation to industry-wide pension schemes; disputes in relation to occupational pension schemes and professional negligence claim in relation to advice given to employees and trustees on pensions issues.
