Position

Partner in the employment department. Michelle is a highly experienced employment and partnership lawyer who is an acknowledged rising star in these areas. Michelle has been described in the legal directories over the last four years as ‘extremely intelligent and driven’, ‘excellent and very capable’ and ‘showing real promise’, ‘a favourite of the professional firms’ who has carved out a reputation for being ‘first class and reliable’ and who has ‘exceptional ability, particularly with regards to restrictive covenants’. Michelle is described as ‘having experience of international employment arrangements, FSA regulations and restrictive covenants and is ‘well regarded for partnership law’. Michelle is a ranked as an ‘up and coming individual’ for partnership dispute resolution in London. Michelle acts for high-profile corporate and senior executive clients in complex and sensitive employment and partnership matters. Michelle’s clients are form various industry sectors including management consultancy, law, accountancy, recruitment, financial services, sports, insurance, medicine and architecture. Michelle has wide ranging experience of mediation, contentious matters’ and litigation including High court injunctions for breach of restrictive covenants, discrimination, wrongful, unfair and constructive dismissal, redundancy and whistleblowing claims, as well as senior executive terminations, employment related FSA matters, data protection, bonus issues and restructurings. Michelle advises corporate clients on disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity issues, restrictive covenants, protection of confidential information, managing under-performance and age discrimination. Michelle has advised on partnership mergers, team moves, managing out underperforming partners, partners over drawings, retirement terms, partnership moves and age discrimination, as well as drafting partnership deeds and LLP members agreements.
