Position
Partner with over 25 years of litigation experience handling heavyweight commercial litigation, principally commercial property, construction and professional negligence claims. Specialises in property disputes for a variety of clients in the construction and manufacturing industry, including NHBC, the standard-setting body and leading warranty provider for new and newly converted homes in the UK. Other clients include Continental Tyres, a leading provider of components to the motor industry, among others. ‘Chambers UK’ has ranked Nick as a leading individual in commercial litigation for the last five years, and in property litigation for the last two years, and identified him as a named mediator in 2009. Nick co-founded and is the chairman of the mediation group, Middlesex and Thames Valley Mediators (MTVM), which is accredited by the Civil Mediation Council to provide mediators for county court cases throughout London and the Thames Valley. He has acted as lead mediator in over 40 mediations, many of which were property-related.

Qualified 1983; joined Pinsent & Co (Pinsent Masons) and Palmer Cowen before joining B P Collins in 1987; partner 1991; head of litigation and dispute resolution department 1993-2006; CEDR-accredited mediator 1998; co-founder and chairman of Middlesex and Thames Valley Mediators.
