Ioannis Pantelidis, Managing Partner

Managing Partner Ioannis Pantelidis explains how the firm is adapting to clients’ changing needs

1) What do you see as the main points that differentiate you from your competitors?

Due to the intense competition in today's globalized society, you have to develop specific qualities in order to distinguish yourself among the others. Indicatively some of the main points that differentiate PDLawOffices are the responsible and strategic preparation of each case separately, the professionalism, expertise and thorough legal knowledge that characterizes our partners and associates, as well as the continuous monitoring of the scientific, case- law developments in an international level. Furthermore, our wide network of partners of various specialties, all over the country, eg lawyers, financial advisors, accountants, technical consultants, bailiffs etc enables us to provide our services and handle cases throughout Greece.

2) What's the main change you've made in the firm that will benefit clients?

All the technological developments adopted by our law firm facilitate a quick access to all case files of our clients, which ensures safe and quick responses to all of are clients’ problems while it allows the tracking of the legal proceedings and the publishing of the Court’s decisions.

3) Is technology changing the way you interact with your clients, and the services you can provide them?

Using technology in a productive way is a conditio sine qua non for a law firm nowadays. The ability to file and follow-up cases electronically, to proceed in electronic payments and issue the corresponding electronic invoices as well as to record all files related to a case electronically are few examples of how technology improves our daily interaction with our clients by reducing the cost of our services, which have also become faster and ever more reliable. Our law firm has tried the past years to keep up with the technological developments, adopting practices and introducing innovative programs, which has allowed us, especially because most of our clients are companies (commercial, insurance ones etc) to reduce the time we need to reply the questions they may have and to manage the numerous cases that we handle per week.

4) Can you give us a practical example of how you have helped a client to add value to their business?

Our law firm, having the necessary experience on the specific law fields we mostly practice on, has managed to keep a detailed data of jurisprudence related to these fields of law (viz a data of Court’s decisions categorized by the nature of the case, the claimed amount and the amount finally granted or not by the Court), which has given us the opportunity, many times so far, to provide our clients with our legal opinion on whether it would be better for them to settle the case instead of proceeding to a trial or the opposie, by examining the potential outcome of the possible legal proceedings.
