Career

Jakub Ziółek has advised professional clients and private equity investment funds on many complex merger and acquisition processes. He has participated in real estate transactions concerning acquisition of the companies (share deals) and assets (asset deals), and has also frequently conducted legal due diligence of companies and enterprises. Jakub’s practice covers advisory on behalf of both the sellers and the buyers. He has advised on transactions across many industry sectors (FMCG, IT, new technologies, power, real estate). He managed transactions on the Polish market as well as cross-border transactions. Jakub leads a team of over 20 lawyers specialized in advising on M&As, corporate law and real estate. In 2016, he was distinguished as a recommended lawyer in the Private client category by the international ranking of the law firm The Legal 500 EMEA. He has over 10 years of professional experience. Prior to joining the Crido Legal team, he was a Partner at SSW law firm. Previously, he gained experience at KPMG and at Baker & McKenzie, an international law firm.

Its main areas of expertise include alternative assets, such as farmland, timberland and private rental property. Practice group supervisor Jakub Ziółek advised Prime Holdings and Management on the €110m acquisition of Suwałki Plaza and Toruń Plaza from Plaza Centers.
