Career

Alexandra coordinates the banking and financial services practice of Radu si Asociatii SPRL, the affiliated law firm of EY in Romania.

She previously worked in the legal department of the Romanian subsidiaries of 3 major banks, namely BRD-Groupe Societe Generale (Romania), Citibank Romania, and HVB Bank Romania (currently UniCredit Bank SA), and also in the banking practices of the Romanian correspondent firms of DLA Piper (as head of finance and banking), Allen & Overy (as counsel), and Gide Loyrette Nouel (as senior lawyer).

She has more than 18 years of experience in banking and finance, with a focus on financial services and capital markets related aspects, including derivatives. Her unique experience in serving both internal clients – from the position of in-house counsel, and external clients – as independent lawyer, enables her to understand complex client needs, work cross-divisionally and assist with both regulatory and transactional projects.

Languages

Alexandra is fluent in Romanian and English, and competent in German and French.

Member of the Ilfov County Bar and the National Association of Romanian Bars.
