Barbara-Ellen joined Shearwaters in April 2016. She has over ten years of relevant experience in the international business environment.

Barbara-Ellen is a former associate of Baker McKenzie’s Amsterdam Employment & Pensions department, where she gained over 5 years of relevant experience as a lawyer in solving employment issues in international transactions and in standalone employment matters for corporates, financial institutions and executives operating internationally.

After leaving Baker McKenzie in 2010, Barbara-Ellen lived and worked in Houston (United States of America) where she obtained HR-qualifications at a leading university and managed the day-to-day business of a Houston based communications and project management firm operating in the Texas energy industry.
