Dispute resolution – contentious trusts and probate, professional negligence and risk and compliance.
Position
Louise is the lead partner for contentious probate and head the firm’s wills, trust and estate disputes team which deals with all types of disputes arising from wills and trust matters. The team acts for all types of parties in such disputes from individuals to High Street Banks acting as professional Trustees. Louise is also head of the firm’s risk and compliance group which includes the client care, compliance, business improvement and business continuity functions.

Called to the Bar, Lincoln’s Inn 1986; Lawford & Co, London 1987-89; Irwin Mitchell 1989; admitted as a solicitor 1990; partner Irwin Mitchell 1996; head of professional negligence, Yorkshire, and contentious trusts and probate groups 1999; appointed to Irwin Mitchell’s business and private client management team 2004; head of risk and compliance 2007.
