Partner dealing with employment, particularly cases involving the validity of the restrictive covenants, representation at employment tribunals and general employment problems for companies and individuals. Also conducts personal injury defence (derived largely from shipping practice); has conducted claimant and defendant work arising out of product liability and work-related accidents; extensive knowledge of health and safety issues, representation at inquests and dealing with health and safety executive investigations under the threat of prosecution; interested in crisis and risk management. Also conducts professional indemnity cases, particularly claims for and against lawyers.
