Position
Andrew heads Ince & Co’s energy business group and specialises in commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, concentrating on energy, shipping, international trade and insurance law. He undertakes advocacy at interlocutory levels and before arbitration tribunals. Andrew’s energy experience ranges from construction disputes to heavyweight litigation and arbitration involving on and off-shore pipelines, refineries, FPSOs, power stations and oil and gas facilities. He also handles all aspects of shipping and marine insurance with particular emphasis on casualty, P&I and FD&D matters, carriage of goods by sea and charterparty disputes. His trade practice covers the full range of physical and futures legal work for commodities including oil. Andrew has strong industry links with North America, Italy, Northern Europe, and Nigeria (West Africa), as well as in the major oil and gas ‘patches’ around the world.
