Position
Nick is a partner in the Insurance Business Group. For the past 17 years his practice has comprised TMT and professional indemnity liability and policy coverage disputes and general commercial disputes. Nick has advised on numerous IT disputes including a £20 million claim by one of the UK's largest cash and carry companies against its software developer; a website development dispute between a major retailer and a website developer; a claim by the German post office against the developer of an electronic mail system; a claim by a major retailer against the supplier of distribution and delivery fleet management software. Nick has also recently successfully concluded a design right/breach of confidence dispute which was described by the unsuccessful other parties' solicitors as the biggest/most complex intellectual property case ever to come before the English Courts.
