Position

Partner practising in insurance, in particular professional indemnity, and commercial litigation. A long experience of investigating and defending claims against lawyers, his insurance practice includes financial institutions work, claims against insurance brokers and accountants, coverage issues and reinsurance. In addition he undertakes general contractual disputes, including property issues, and commercial arbitration. Recent cases include Standard Life v Oak Dedicated Ltd and Others (financial institutions professional indemnity coverage issue, and claim against brokers) and Ross River v Cambridge City Football Club Ltd (bribery and fraudulent misrepresentation in connection with agreement for sale and development of football ground).
