Articled Ince & Co; qualified England 1977, Hong Kong 1986; partner Ince & Co 1983; accredited mediator CEDR, The Academy of Experts, ADR Chambers and ADR Net; joint head of firm’s ADR group. In 2001, established and then managed firm’s first German office in Hamburg presiding over its increase from four to 12 lawyers and then, at the beginning of 2004, returning to practice in London. Publications: co-author ‘Tug, Tow and Pilotage’, ‘The Law and Practice of Marine Insurance and Average’; ‘Bunkers’; ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ and editor of ‘Classification Societies’ and ‘Maritime Law Handbook’; author of various publications in the field of maritime law and international trade and frequent lecturer on these subjects at home and abroad.
