Position

Dr. Friedrich Rosenfeld acts as counsel in arbitration and state court proceedings, as expert witness, and as arbitrator. The focus of his practice is international arbitration and public international law. Friedrich studied at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at Columbia Law School in New York. Before joining Hanefeld Rechtsanwälte, he worked as a consultant for the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials in Cambodia. Friedrich is Global Adjunct Professor of Law at NYU Law in Paris, lecturer for investment arbitration at Bucerius Law School as well as Visiting Professor for arbitration at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki. In 2014, he was appointed Global Hauser Fellow from Practice & Government at NYU School of Law.
