Work Department

Claire has advised clients for over 15 years on all aspects of family law, developing particular expertise in advising on the financial consequences of marriage breakdown with international dimensions, family businesses and pension considerations. In addition to financial consequences, Claire has a wealth of experience of dealing with cases involving children and applications to remove them from the jurisdiction.

Claire also advises on pre and post nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, divorce and applications under the Children Act. Claire has experience in dealing with Child Maintenance Service appeals (formerly CSA). She assists parents dealing with school appeals for primary and secondary school places. This includes giving advice during the application process, drafting the appeal documentation and assisting with preparation for the tribunal hearing.

Claire works out of the Oxford and London offices. Our London office is conveniently located just off Regent Street in Mayfair. Claire provides a discreet and professional service for high profile clients who want to avoid media attention and keep their personal affairs private.

As a qualified mediator, Claire works with couples to guide them through the practical and legal consequences of their separation, including the division of finances and arrangements for their children and any other discrete issues that may arise.

Claire qualified in 2001 and joined the firm as a partner in 2016 having previously worked at Blake Morgan.

Claire’s achievements as a specialist family solicitor were acknowledged nationally at Jordan’s Family Law Awards in October 2013, when she was named Family Law Associate Solicitor of the year.
