Freeths LLP’s ‘commercially minded’ team acts for a largely national client base. Newly minted practice head Chris Holwell took over the role from Guy Berwick, who is now national head of dispute management. Amy Morley is another key practitioner. The team advised ALDI on the construction of its network of supermarkets and the corresponding regional distribution centres, involving both new-builds and extensions. It also acted for Scape Group on the review of the legal terms of the National Construction Framework Contract and the Regional Construction Framework, involving NEC3 and NEC4-related advice. Tarmac, Gleeds and Novartis Pharmaceuticals are also clients.
