KLIEMT.Arbeitsrecht > The Legal 500 Rankings
Germany > Employment Tier 1
After the opening of a Berlin office in January 2022, KLIEMT.Arbeitsrecht now advises its impressive client base from a total of six German offices, with cross-border projects being managed with the help of a cooperation network. In addition to its offices, the firm also expanded its partner clout with the appointments of Thomas Gerdom (restructuring and manager consulting) and Ferdinand Groß (works constitution law) in January 2022 and with the return of Martin Eisenbeis (focus on advising financial investors) in October 2022 as principal counsel (previously at Trebeck & von Broich Rechtsanwaelte PartG mbB), it also pushed its personnel growth; Eisenbeis is to further expand the Cologne presence. With this set-up, the group is particularly predestined for restructuring and transformation processes as well as acquisition-related employment advice: thus, matters relating to staff reductions and associated negotiations on reconciliation of interests and social plans, negotiations with works councils, arbitration board procedures and collective bargaining negotiations are just as much part of its typical work load as mobile working, regulated remuneration, compliance investigations and company pension schemes. Furthermore, the practice continues to be entrusted with Covid-related matters, including outsourcing, external personnel and agile working. A quartet consisting of name partner Michael Kliemt, who is experienced in executive board contracts, litigator Stefan Fischer, restructuring expert Burkard Göpfert and Barbara Reinhard, who is well versed in collective bargaining and industrial disputes, leads the team.Practice head(s):
