Career

Joined the firm in 1989. He has worked in several offices (including Seville and Madrid), and is currently the principal partner of the newly opened office of Almeria. Provides advice to family businesses in various sectors of activity (construction and property development and derivatives thereof; manufacturing; services) and financial sector entities. He has experience in the planning and implementation process of business restructuring, as well as in the estate and tax planning advice in the process of discussing and drafting protocols families. He has worked in a timely manner with the Department of Public Finance at the Faculty of Business Administration of Malaga. He has participated in numerous conferences with institutions (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Malaga; Ilustre Colegio de Economistas de Malaga; Chamber of Commerce of Almeria), and companies with presentations on taxation in general and family business (protocols families; corporate succession process; estate taxation).It participates in seminars organized annually by J&A Garrigues for customers. He publishes articles on taxation in local press and business.

  • CHANGES IN THE REGIME GOVERNING RESTRICTIONS ON VOTING RIGHTS AT SPANISH LISTED COMPANIES

    On June 17, 2010, following a rough and eventful passage through Parliament, the Lower House of the Spanish Parliament finally approved a transcendental amendment to the Spanish Corporations Law (to article 105.2) affecting only listed corporations: a prohibition on voting ceilings for a same shareholder (or companies in the same group), regardless of the number of shares they own.
