Farzana Chowdhury is a Partner in the Social Housing team. She has a broad range of experience in all aspects of housing law; with a particular interest in possession cases including anti-social behaviour, succession and subletting cases. Farzana has built a reputation for taking on difficult cases and gaining excellent results for her clients. In addition to this, Farzana also regularly represents tenants in housing disrepair cases, recovering damages and orders for works for clients, including vulnerable clients and those suffering from disabilities or other special needs.

Starting January 1st, 2013, a new tax law (Law No. 822, Tax Concertation Law) came into force in and completely changed the taxation system in Nicaragua. Two years later a new law was issued by the National Assembly containing more than 80 amendments, additions and repeals (Law No 891) which came into force December 18th, 2014.
