Position
Jayesh specialises primarily in housing law, dealing with disrepair actions, judicial review in context of housing law, anti-social behaviour, challenges to committal proceeding within the county court, landlord and tenant problems, unlawful eviction, possession matters and review/appeals relating to local authority homelessness decisions. Jayesh also has extensive experience of cases which have been decided in the County Court, Administrative Court, Court of Appeal and The Supreme Court. Recent cases of note include Broomleigh Housing Association Ltd v Okonkwo [2010] and White v Quadrant Brownswood Tenants Co-operative [2011]. Both cases were heard in the Court of Appeal.
