Position
Catastrophic/fatal injury claims, occupational accidents and diseases, road traffic accidents (especially cyclists), occupiers’ liability and defective premises claims, criminal injury. He has particular expertise in acquired spinal cord injury or brain injury, vaccine-reaction claims and organophosphate-induced neurological injury. Professional negligence claims, claims for breach of confidence, public law & human rights cases. Mass tort / multi-party actions including the MMR and DPT vaccine injury claims, gulf war syndrome claims, Romantica cruise ship fire, Kerrin Point, and Hepatitis ‘C’ contaminated blood transfusions.

Trained Herrington & Carmichael, qualified 1994; Hodge Jones & Allen 1997; salaried partner 2000, equity partner 2003. Appointed by the Law Society as a solicitor costs assessor, sitting with the Judge to hear appeals against detailed assessments of costs in the High Court and County Court. Member of Tolmers Property Company LLP. Independent adjudicator of legal appeals about funding decisions for the Legal Services Commission, London region, and Special Cases Unit.
