Practice head Annette Rosenkötter, who, in addition to providing strategic advice also acts in review proceedings, is considered an expert in defense procurement in addition to her specialisation in research and development.

FPS is experienced in supporting project developments and advises on construction law as well as architectural, real estate and procurement law; the team also assists with dispute resolution during construction. The practice offers industry expertise in the commercial, hotel and residential sectors, which is requested by project developers, national and international companies and public sector clients. Stephan Jüngst heads the team and is experienced in construction support and construction claim management. The construction, architectural and engineering law expert Ralf Euling (previously at Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein) joined the firm's new Munich location in late 2023.

FPS comprehensively covers IT law and advises financial institutions, authorities, global corporations and start-ups on digital business models, the use of new technologies and the implementation of IT business procedures; the team also covers interfacing data protection matters. A growth area was cyber security, in particular the support in cyber attack incident management. The group is led by Hauke ​​Hansen (IT law, digitisation and data protection), Jörg Kornbrust (project management and contract drafting for IT projects) and Christoph Süßenberger (IT contract drafting, project support, software development, transactions).

FPS assists with trade mark disputes and prosecution and houses a specifically established product piracy task force. Alongside German and international companies, the client base also includes prominent individuals. Christoph Holzbach heads the practice and provides wide-ranging IP advice, which includes trade marks as well as competition and copyright law. Thomas Stein is one of the key contacts for border seizures, parallel imports and anti-counterfeiting.

FPS' interdisciplinary approach covers the advice on acquisitions of undeveloped properties via project developments, the drafting of residential agreements, tenancy matters and asset management as well as sales. The practice also covers interfacing tax and financing matters. Dietrich Sammer (portfolio and individual property transactions, commercial and residential tenancy agreements, in and out-of-court litigation), Hendrik Sandmann (transactions, project developments, tenancy and real estate law) and Lars Voigt (transactions) jointly head the team, which also includes Nina Jarass Cohen (real estate, construction, planning and environmental law), who was appointed to partner in January 2023.
