Commercial dispute resolution
Position
Partner in commercial dispute resolution team specialising in contentious trust and probate litigation including applications contesting the validity of wills, applications to remove executors, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, and breach of trust claims. Also advises in relation to property litigation matters such as dilapidations claims, commercial landlord and tenant possession proceedings, rights of way disputes, and boundary disputes. Reported cases: Devas v Mackay [2009] EWHC 1951 (Ch) – successfully overturned a will in the High Court on the grounds of want of testamentary capacity and want of knowledge and approval.
