Position

Counsel Mr. Hadi is a counsel in our Dubai office who specialises in M&A and transactional work, as well as general corporate/commercial matters. Mr. Hadi has many years of experience working on transactions in the U.S., Pakistan and the U.A.E. He has represented both acquirers and sellers in cross-border transactions with targets located in various jurisdictions including the U.A.E., India, England, the U.S., Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Libya and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mr. Hadi also has significant dispute resolution experience particularly in arbitrations in the U.A.E.

Career

Mr Hadi joined Afridi & Angell as an associate in 2007. Before joining Afridi & Angell in 2007, Mr. Hadi worked as an associate in the Dubai office of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Field LLP, and prior to that, in the Karachi office of Rizvi, Isa, Afridi & Angell and the Washington D.C. offices of Arnold & Porter LLP.
