Career

Before Eva Bodenbach joined Fleet Hamburg as a founding member, she was an associate in the shipping department of Taylor Wessing since 2002 and a partner since 2006.

She speakes German, English and Spanish.

Member

Eva is a member of the German Association for International Maritime Law (DVIS), the German Maritime Arbitration Association (GMAA), the German Association for Transport Law (DGTR) and the Women's International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) .

Education

Studies: She studied law at Heidelberg and Madrid and submitted her thesis on the subject of public international law. During her legal training Eva worked with international law firms in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Qualifications: Eva is admitted as Rechtsanwältin and is specialised in maritime, transport and logistics law.
She represents and advises numerous ship owners and operators in particular in relation to shipbuilding and management, ship sale and purchase and financing contracts. She also advises offshore operators and suppliers on construction and engineering contracts, charterparties as well as supply and service contracts. Eva also advises many multi-national corporations and manufacturers in relation to logistics, transportation, distribution and agency matters.
