Vadym is active in M&A, corporate and commercial law, aviation law, restructuring, project finance, securities, transactional taxation, real estate.
Vadym served on various task forces to develop a number of draft laws, including the Laws of Ukraine "On Digital Electronic Signature", "On Securities and Stock Market", "On Joint Stock Companies", regulations and clarifications of Securities and Exchange State Commission of Ukraine.

Career

Prior to joining Asters, Mr. Samoilenko worked as a legal advisor for major investment companies operating in Ukraine, including Western NIS Enterprise Fund, ENSTI, Alfa Capital, and the head of the legal department of Polar-Invest. Also, he was an associate with law firms in Kiev, Kharkiv (Ukraine) and Chicago (USA). Mr. Samoilenko completed a three-month internship at the Federal Parliament of Canada.

  • NBU Introduces Changes to Cross-Border Loan Registration Procedure

    On 15 June 2012, the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine (the "NBU") adopted Regulation No. 246 introducing amendments (the "Amendments") to the procedure of obtainment by residents of foreign-currency loans from non-residents and providing by residents of foreign-currency loans to non-residents (the "Procedure") set forth in NBU Regulation No. 270. The Amendments shall come into force 4 months after the date of registration by the Ministry of Justice, which occurred on 9 July 2012.
