Position

Michael Goeskjær is specialised in IT law, information technology, IPR and contract law. Over the past 20 years as a legal advisor, he has assisted Danish and international businesses in a large number of cases – for example within IT and IPR, telecommunications, distribution and agency issues, general company law and contract law – including Danish and international distribution and agency agreements. Michael is an experienced litigator, having conducted a significant number of high-profile cases before the Danish courts in relation to, for example, trademark disputes. In addition, he has assisted Motorola in negotiating contracts in connection with Denmark’s so far largest IT project (the delivery of a national emergency communication system).

Recent highlights include group leader Mads Nygaard Madsen advising 3D printing company 3Shape on its contracts and agreements, Michael Goeskjær acting for Scandi System, which uses technology systems for the issuance of passports and driving licenses, on its contractual agreements with a number of Danish Municipalities, and Asger Heine Jensen representing Kiloo, whose mobile game Subway Surfers was alleged to have breached the privacy rights of its users.

Regulatory expert Mads Nygaard Madsen leads the team, which also fields Michael Goeskjær, who regularly advises on telecoms-related contracts and agreements; Goeskjær recently assisted Motorola with regulatory issues. Another key name is Asger Heine Jensen, who advised BD Consult Electronic Engineering on its establishment of a telecoms system which allows its customer to monitor their fixed assets including elevators and refrigerators.
