Gabriele Capecchi is the Head of the Real Estate Department. He practices in corporate finance and M&A and has also developed a sophisticated expertise in real estate, assisting primary investors in any kind of real estate project, such as acquisitions, development and management projects, including acquisitions and divestments of large portfolios of assets.
Partner in Legance since 2009.
In 2017, Gabriele has been awarded as “Real Estate Lawyer of the Year” at the prestigious TopLegal Industry Awards.
In Legance, Gabriele is a member of the Strategic Committee.

Legance - Avvocati Associati's practice covers acquisitions, mergers, takeovers, shareholder and voting agreements, and joint ventures. Filippo Troisi, who leads the corporate finance department, acted for Banco BPM on the sale of asset management business Aletti Gestielle to Anima Holding; Giorgio Vanzanelli advised Sonatrach on the acquisition of a refinery in Sicily; and Bruno Bartocci acted for GTCR on the Italian law aspects of the acquisition of Albany Molecular Research. Giuseppe Abbruzzese, who has 'a perfect understanding of the needs of the clients and adopts a very pragmatic approach’, acted for the Partners Group on the indirect acquisition of companies owning six shopping centres and galleries in Italy from Blackstone and the establishment of a new closed-end real estate fund. Other work included assisting Natixis Pfandbriefbank and Allianz as lenders with the financing of CBRE Global Investors’ purchase of an asset in Piazza Duoma in Milan. Gabriele Capecchi, Emanuele Espositi and ‘skilled negotiator’ and senior counsel Marco Mastrorosa are other key names. In 2018, Giacomo Gitti and administrative and public law expert Alessandra Palatini were promoted to senior counsel and counsel respectively.
