Giuseppe is co-head of the Real Estate Department. He is specialised in administrative law, with a focus on town-planning and building issues. He gained a remarkable experience in proceedings for the issuance of administrative authorizations and in drafting of real-estate contracts. He is constantly involved in deals related to the construction, management, buying and selling of shopping centers, offices, industrial complexes, residential buildings, hospitality structures and energy plants. He assisted primary clients in the most important transactions completed in Italy in recent years, including the sale of the Sole 24 Ore headquarter, designed by Renzo Piano, the acquisition of the new Dentons headquarter, the indirect acquisition of 6 shopping centers and of the new hub occupied by Amazon in Piedmont.f Sole 24 Ore, designed by Renzo Piano, the acquisition of the new Dentons headquarter, the indirect acquisition of 6 shopping centers and of the new hub occupied by Amazon in Piedmont.

Jointly headed by the highly regarded Filippo Pacciani, Alessandro Botto and Giuseppe Abbruzzese, the administrative and public law practice at Legance - Avvocati Associati has outstanding expertise in public sector contracts, urban planning and local development, public finance and environmental matters. Recent highlights include assisting the Borletti Group and other investors with the construction and the financing of a shopping centre and defending CSL Behring in a case brought by Kedrion and Grifols before the Council of State regarding the tender procedure for the industrial processing of plasma. Alessandra Palatini was recently promoted to counsel.

Giuseppe Abbruzzese, who has 'a perfect understanding of the needs of the clients and adopts a very pragmatic approach’, acted for the Partners Group on the indirect acquisition of companies owning six shopping centres and galleries in Italy from Blackstone and the establishment of a new closed-end real estate fund. Other work included assisting Natixis Pfandbriefbank and Allianz as lenders with the financing of CBRE Global Investors’ purchase of an asset in Piazza Duoma in Milan. Gabriele Capecchi, Emanuele Espositi and ‘skilled negotiator’ and senior counsel Marco Mastrorosa are other key names. In 2018, Giacomo Gitti and administrative and public law expert Alessandra Palatini were promoted to senior counsel and counsel respectively.
