Dispute resolution.

Dispute resolution lawyer acting for a number of companies with international interests, leads asb law’s corporate counsel support offering. Lyndsey is a skilled litigator with broad experience of managing commercial disputes through national and international courts, as well as through arbitration, adjudication and mediation. She frequently represents clients in large scale and complex disputes, and applies her insight and experience to advising on mitigating the risk and impact of litigation. Lyndsey handles fraud investigations, asset recovery litigation, procurement challenges and injunctive proceedings. She regularly advises on issues of misconduct and, with specialist knowledge of IP and IT disputes, has obtained numerous injunctions for breach of restrictive covenant and/or misuse of confidential information. Lyndsey represents a broad range of companies with international interests and leads our corporate counsel support offering. She has devoted the past three years to canvassing views from hundreds of corporate counsel to understand the evolving role of General Counsel, how legal teams interface with the business and what they need from their suppliers.

As a keen advocate of legal transformation, Lyndsey avidly monitors the changing legal landscape and has spent considerable time with alternative providers, new entrants and legal commentators to anticipate the direction and trends in the legal marketplace. Lyndsey has supported Managing Partner, Andrew Clinton, in his mission to challenge the status quo in the legal industry and revolutionise the delivery of legal services. She has used the data and insight gained to drive asb law’s initiative to create a range of solutions designed to meet corporate counsels’ needs. Lyndsey devised asb law’s legal project management solution, asbnavigate, and works closely with in-house legal teams to re-engineer and streamline their processes to reduce cost and mitigate risk.
