Position
Lyndsey heads up the firm’s TeC team, having particular expertise in contentious intellectual property matters and IT and telecoms disputes. Some recent examples include acting for a major US IT company in proceedings relating to the breakdown of a complex £8m MWAN contract, acting for a large travel company in a dispute relating to allegations of screenscraping which had market-wide implications for the travel industry, and advising on the wrongful termination of a large IT contract. In addition, she has extensive experience in handling fraud investigations and asset recovery litigation and regularly advises corporate clients on actions for breach of restrictive covenant and misuse of confidential information, including leading forensic investigations into the theft of confidential information and unlawful access of computer systems and obtaining injunctions for various companies. Lyndsey also has a broad range of commercial experience having advised on a number of high value and complex matters including acting for a large port operator in a £50 million contractual dispute. Lyndsey is an active member of the firm’s travel team and has acted for a broad range of travel clients including TUI Travel Plc, easyJet and James Villas.
