After a three-year legal battle against the government in relation to personal injuries and loss of amenities, a landmark award of damages was made.

Yiannos G. Georgiades was invited by the Chamber of Arbitration of Milan (Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan) to attend a presentation on an international online mediation service, which was given in Milan, Italy on 14-16 May 2008.
