Bolt Burdon Kemp

Work Department

Military claims

Position

Rhicha is head of the firm’s Military department and a partner at Bolt Burdon Kemp. Since joining Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2012, she has developed a dedicated practice in representing service personnel, veterans and their families in bringing personal injury and clinical negligence claims.  She understands the very unique culture of life in the military and the effect it has, on not only personnel, but also their families.

Rhicha has successfully spearheaded high profile litigation against the Ministry of Defence (MoD), including the terrifying military aviation ‘Voyager’ incident, which resulted in a vast number of passengers suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  She has a strong interest in mental health related claims and is a passionate advocate for ending the stigma faced by veterans who suffer with this illness in silence.

She has significant experience in personal injury claims involving non freezing cold injuries, training accidents, defective work equipment, sexual assaults, stress at work and fatal accident claims.  Rhicha has a proven track record in successfully winning clinical negligence claims against the MoD to include delays in diagnosing: compartment syndrome, PTSD, testicular cancer, tuberculosis and other very serious health conditions.
