Position
Jo specialises in clinical negligence and personal injury and has a particular interest in brain and spinal injury, catastrophic injury, children, fatal accident claims and military claims. One of the highlights for Jo this year was settling a brain injury claim for £8.9m including periodical payments over the claimant’s life. Jo contributes regularly to training programmes run by APIL.
Career
Jo’s first career was in publishing, as Assistant Editor, at the Royal United Services Institute. She qualified as a solicitor with Rance & Co in 1990. She joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in 1996 and was made partner in 2003.
