Giorgio Groppi mainly advises on corporate law and financial markets, particularly specializing in capital markets transactions, mergers, acquisitions and other extraordinary transactions concerning listed companies, private equity and joint ventures. He also has extensive experience in real estate, especially with regard to the incorporation of real estate trusts and acquisitions and transfers of real estate portfolios.

He then obtained in 2009 a LL.M., Master of Laws from New York University.

Additional highlights include Francesco Gatti assisting Manutencoop Società Cooperativa with the acquisition, through its subsidiary CMF, of an approximate 33 per cent stake in Manutencoop Facility Management and Carlo Pavesi acting for Banca Popolare di Sondrio on the acquisition of PrestiNuova.
