Career

Guillermo has been a partner of the M&A practice since 2017.

He specialises in M&A, private equity, bank financing, loan portfolios, debt restructuring and capital markets.

Guillermo has spent most of his career as a lawyer at the Spanish law firm Garrigues, where he was appointed partner in 2007 and where he held the position of managing partner of its London office from 2007 to 2011. Before joining Garrigues he worked for three years in the corporate finance practice of Linklaters (2000-2002).

He has been recognised as one of the most talented lawyers under the age of 40 in Spain and Portugal in the 40 Under Forty Awards 2013 awarded by Iberian Lawyer.
