Javier is a partner in Finance and Capital Markets in the Madrid office. He joined the Firm in 1996 and was named Partner in 2001. Javier has extensive experience in structured finance operations, project finance, the energy sector, infrastructures, capital markets and corporate law in general. Javier advises financial institutions, investment services agencies, regulated entities and management companies on various questions related to banking regulations and the securities market.

The department is acting for Capital Energy in proceedings concerning a challenge to the declaration of nullity of a major wind farm in Galicia, as well as representing Hidrolazán in an administrative appeal, relating to the concession for the hydroelectric exploitation of a river in the province of Salamanca.
